Just thought I'd post the question, I think it would be great to have a meet sometime with all the brissy Oct due mummies even if it isnt till we are all on maternity leave :eek:

I am working full-time too, and about to switch departments - from close to home (Loganholme) to in the city, which means after hours during the week is a complete write-off.

Maybe a weekend sometime would be good, I am pretty flexible :yes:

I'm in Mansfield so we are fairly central and it's pretty easy for me to get most places. My name is Sam, I'm 33 and I have two kids, LouLou aged 3 and a half, Archie aged 1 and a half. I work in the city and have Fridays off. On a weekend, Sunday is my best day as Saturday DH often works and we have swimming lessons etc.!

Once these babies arrive I will be off work for at least 15 months, so I will also be keen to have a number of regular catchups. I'm still semi involved in a playgroup formed with the mums I met at LouLou's prenatal class and it's great to be a part of a group with kids at similar ages. It's also lovely to watch the kids grow up together.

I would love to meet up sometime. It sounds as though it might get easier as we get towards the end and either cut back or finish up at work...
But I'm happy to go with whatever plan is devised!!

Mansfield counds pretty much middle ground - I've just moved to Redbank so it's not hard to get that way from there.

Weekends are ok for me, and Sundays are fine. Busy next few weeks moving/settling in, but anytime after that would be fine. I plan on having 4-6 months off after birth (whatever we can afford) and wouldn't mind keeping in touch afterwards either.

This is our first pregnancy, all very exiciting!!
