Hi Ladies,

I am just asking for some ideas, my best friend and i are both pregnant and both due in September, her about 10 days before me. It's our first bubs and we are trying to think of something that we can start together and do from home that will earn us some money so we don't have to go back to work!!!

Any ideas??? We are both childcare workers and talked about family day care but these days there are just too many rules and regulations that you need to follow, and so many changes that would have to happen to either of our houses.. not only that neither of us have a suitable house for it!

So what do we think??

Thanks all!

I wish I could help you, but if I had any ideas, I would do them myself!
Sorry, and good luck. if you come up with anything, let me know.
Cheers
Cass

Maybe if you have a hobby in the craft department you could sell them at the markets.

I make my own jewellery, so hopefully if I get this job with Wallace and Bishop today I will be able to work from home doing repairs.....
Also make my own jewellery to sell at the markets....

Ohh yeah that's a good idea, however i don't think we are exceptionally good at making anything.. was thinking about making invitations for things... like sort of scrapbooking them... not sure though

I agree with cassvanm, if i had the idea i would be doing them:laughing:

I do do a party plan type thing with educational books and toys, i love providing this stuff to families:) so i guess i do something, but i understand it isnt everyones 'cup of tea'

I was thinking of starting sewing and selling the stuff, maybe at the markets maybe on e-bay???? who knows.... I dont want to go back to wrok after this baby is born. Hate starting my kids at childcare before i am ready:crying:

Exactly Mixy, it's good to have something you can do at home to bring in the money instead of having to work away from you child and leave them. I understand not everyone can do this though... ohwell i will keep thinking... thanks
