Hi Guys
Have just found this site after not having a computer for ages and so after having a great time reading all that's been going on, I thought I would join up and get into it.
I moved to Tamborine from Miami in September and am a bit sick of travelling back down to the coast everytime I want to socialise.
So if there is anyone up here on the mountain who is a member of bubhub, it would be great to chat. I am 31 and have a 1 year old boy.

Thanks for the replies folks

Is the playgroup the one at St Georges church? Do you go Emymy girl?
If so, Is it a big one and what do you do? I am a play group virgin!

Yeah I think you're right Happy Lady- crazy to do the drive especially working at Southport!

Worth it for the free baby sitting from family living nearby though!

Well the money that you save on the babysitting will pay for all those extra brake pads you go through.:p

Hi,
I live in Oxenford at the bottom of the mountain, would be happy to catch up some time.

Thomas is 13 months old (few days younger than Christian).

I am up at Eagle Heights living in a shed whilst we build our house. Great fun living in a shed when 9 months pregnant with a 2 year old!!
Good to know I'm not alone up here!

It sounds challenging LOL! We were wanting to build a house up on the mtn, but only this week decided to stay put for a few years longer. I love the house we live in, but I also love the general vibe up there.. we definitely know that eagle heights or surrounding suburbs will be where we end up after here. (and it gets more rain LOL!)
Are you having your baby locally? When I had DS we only lived a few mins from the hospital, and now I am about 3/4 hour away LOL! AND.. there is so much roadwork going on between nerang and canungra at the moment - let's hope I go into labour (or more accurately, leave to go to the hospital) after 4pm when they finish work for the day hehe. I am booked in to Pindara.

Hi again Buzzing Bee! Good to see you still around!! I'm hopeless with coming on here, as much as I'd love to be a regular I just can't get the time. Anyway I finnished work at last (a week before my due date with bubs number 2) so maybe I'll get more time now.

It would be great to catch up with people from our area and that includes coomera / upper coomera as I see there are a few around there.
