Finally had the bub

Heya all,

Just a quick update, finally had the bub!!

Welcome to the world my lovely daughter Guinevere Lillian :smiliedance:Born 6th of Feb at 2244. 3625 grams, 51 cm Long.

Ended up having a caesaran as she couldn't get her head in the right position to get born and was starting to get stressed.

Having issues with BF atm, been to the BF clinic twice so far to get things sorted, and they have put me on yet more pills to get my milk started. Poor hubby is getting upset 'cause I'm getting upset and that's getting me upset :) what a lovely cycle.

The lactation nurse today noticed how stressed we are so she's referred us to get some help and told hubby about some Dad's club thingo they have at Nagala.

Hopefully things will start to sort out soon but I think I'm doing pretty good for a starter :laughing: Well both me and bubs is alive so that's gotta count for something :)

Im sorry to hear about the breastfeeding. Are you taking Motilium? (sp?) Thats what I was on.

If you cant breastfeed then dont stress. I couldnt in the end and my bub is healthy and everyone is happy :)

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby girl. I love her name, its very classy and elegant.

Try not to stress about breast fedding too much. If it works for you, it works for you. Breastfedding only works when you have a happy mum and a happy bub....

Thanks for the congrates all. This is the first chance I've had to get online since I posted long enough to check hub bub :)

The BF'ing is going great guns now - they had me on domperidone which gave me massive headaches and caused Guinever to be up all night crying. Stopped taking it and my milk came on and she slept normally. So all's good now.
