Hi
There seems to be a lot of people around the Gold Coast area. I was just wondering if there is anyone at Canungra who would like to chat or meet up.

HI Emymygirl
My name is Nicole and I have a 6 1/2 month old little girl called Mackenzie. We are in Canungra (well just outside at Wonglepong). Where abouts are you and how old is your little one?

I live at Miami but thought I'd just say that I thought Canungra was really pretty and would be a nice place to live, especially with little kids. Have only been there once. My partner is working out there now at the army barracks. He's a brickie. Have been on real estate sites but there doesn't seem much available around that area, for the $200,000 price range anyway. How do you find it living there?

Hiya
Living out here is a bit of a trade off for me. I find it hard not having a decent supermarket close by and other services that you seem not to notice when living on the coast. Having said that it is great to live on acreage and that is not affordable for us down the coast.
In my perfect world I would love two acres on the beach in a quiet area but with all the amenities. :smiliedance:

Sounds perfect emymygirl! I'm not used to being SO close to my neighours as I am here in Miami and that we'd only be able to afford a unit or townhouse. I can't imagine not having a backyard!

I'm a Victorian but just wanted to say I think Canungra is a beautiful area. I used to live out at Kooralbyn and whenever we went down to the coast we went through there. I always thought it a pretty spot.:)

HI everyone
yeah, we enjoy living out here too on acerage. It is great having the space to have animals and not being so close to neighbours. And I love the area, it is so pretty.
Emmygirl is right about the supermarkets...it can be a bit of a pain, but at least it is not too far from the coast.
Tammy it is great to find another mum out here. Mackenzie and I would love to catch with you and Emma sometime.
We are off Wonglepong Rd, are you opposite the first Wadham or second one?
