My parents are coming to visit from overseas, and my dad asked me if I could take them to a Japanese restaraunt because he's sick of eating Middle Eastern food (they live there), and also to celebrate him finishing his PhD.
Does anybody know of any good ones in Brissy? Thanks in advance:).

Hi

I've been here a few times (a couple of years ago though) and it was quite good.

Kabuki at the Stamford Plaza Hotel is a gorgeous restaurant - full Teppanyaki or A la carte options.

Otherwise, Sono is nice but A la carte only - it's in the city or have just opened at Portside.

If you are on the coast, there is also great Teppanyaki at the Royal Pines resort. We go there once a year and it's fantastic - I can't quite remember the name though

I've been going to Azabu at Taringa Circle for years, can't rate it highly enough
