hey :wave:
so as it's getting cooler now, im wanting warm foods, and been looking at the slowcooker section and all the fab recipes there, i think i need to get me a slow cooker!
so, whats the best one to get? I dont want to spend over $100 but I want something that will last and not cr*p itself after a month or two of use!
TIA!!

I have a Ronson Model RSC100, stainless steel & black one.
Features;
Extra large 6 litre capacity
removable crockery bowl
glass lid
low, high and keep warm settings
cool touch handlesI have had mine for over a year now with no problems! Its great. Was $60 on special!
I love mine (couldn't tell you what brand though)
The only thing i I'd get a bigger one next time.
It's only 3 litres and it's just not quite big enough sometimes. It's OK for curries and stews (though I tend to over fill it!) but for roasts and lamb shanks and ribs and whole chickens, it's just a bit small.
If I'm slow cooking I like to make heaps and freeze a few meals too.

I've got a Ronson as well and it's fab. I would also get a 5L or 6L so you can freeze extra portions.
We make a fantastic chicken curry in it and it's also good for roasts.
They make the house smell so delicious during the day too :chef:
