We have had our home loan for nearly 3 years we currently use RESI and have a 2 grand credit card that will be paid off by the end of the month YAY YAY we also have a 9 grand car loan with another bank which will be paid off begining of next year if not sooner. We brought our house for $285,000 in canberra nearly 3 yrs ago and our friends got there house revalued at $370,000 which they got at $250,000 2 years ago its a simillar house a little lower market area than ours so thats a plus for us and also we have ducted heating and evap cooling and have done a hell of a lot to it since buying it. last august I went back to work because we were defaulting on our home loan, no longer than a week or 2 but enough to make us stressed as we were living off the government and hubbies family business closed so he is now working in a high paid apprenticship. We want a new car, and possibly an investment property because the really cheap ones for $90-120,000 are running out obviosly we would be getting rent out of that person for the extra we would pay on our loan but we are also prepared to put extra on top of our mortgage and possible investment home as we are nearly living on $100,000 as a family. my pay rate is getting negotiated at the moment because I have taken on higher responsibilities in the publice service and what a very stable job it is! We have gone through thick and thin asking advice from every which way before I started work and we were told to give up we couldnt live like we were but we did YAY SO any advice for me? would we have problems with looking at refinancing are we on too low of an income to be looking at this type of expense? we live very tightly, have a cheap family day carer and our fuel guzzling car needs to go so....

TIA

Leah

Oh I forgot to say I would like to have a credit card linked to our mortgage as well as we are very disciplined and we think this would work ever so sufficiently for us.

Hi Leah

Thanks for the post, I will need to ask some more questions to see if it is worthwhile to look at.

I will PM you direct.
