ooo I lurve perfume. I have about a dozen at the moment.

My signiture fragrance is Python by trussadi, its discontinued now but I still have a bottle and a half to go.

I also love Joop Muse, Anna Sui, Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue, Halloween and Black by J de Polo, Wish, Baby Doll, Magnetic Beat and all the Islandy Summery ones by Escada, Coco and Casmir.

For DH I have only 2 faves Rochas Man and Alure.

Favourite night time scent is Yveresse by Yves St Laurent. Gorgeous but you only need very little.

Day time casual scent would be Lolita Lipicka. Quirky and off beat.

Other old favourites are Red Door by Elizabeth Arden. I also like Romance by Ralph Lauren but my DH is allergic to it yet he bought it fo me.

I usually buy my perfumes at the Discount Chemists at half the price. Cheaper than my DH gets Duty Free. :D

Ah hah :) That may be why some of a few of my perfumes all smell the same. I have about three that smell identical yet I am sure when I first got them they were quite distinct. We have had very hot weather and they sit in an open place that would get the heat. These particular ones are also a few years old. I thought it may have just been age, but I would guess that the heat sped that up too. So, that makes sense.

This is really weird but when I was pregnant I couldnt bear the smell of perfume and stopped wearing it. I tried to wear some just recently and it made me feel a little quesy!

I am such a perfume addict!! I have about 9 bottles in the cupboard but I have run out of my absolute favourite and can't seem to find it anywhere - even in the specialty perfume shops. Its called Ferre by Gianfranco Ferre and it is in a black bottle that looks not unlike a hand grenade with a gold and diamond pin on the top. Think it may be a discontinued scent but if anyone knows a stockist that carries this line, please let me know and I'll be forever grateful!! :smiliedance:

I used to like Samsara but since I became pregnant my skin must have changed or something because it now smells like fly spray on me. Has anyone else had this problem????

Ok, not trying to appear dumb or un-lady like, but why different fragrances for day and night?

I think that some fragrances are too strong and dramatic just to pop on to go to the shops and others are a bit lighter that might be better suited to day time. Just personal opinion, some women would find putting full make up on too strong and dramatic to pop down to the shops but others would be completely fine with that.

Yep, I got told to keep my perfumes in the fridge, too. It helps them last longer......just like the food!! It looks a bit strange, but they don't go off half as quickly. :thumbsup:

My all time fave, that I can't seem to get in Adelaide anymore (DH got it off the internet for me - for all those people looking for a fragrance that can't find it) is 'Laura' by Laura Biagiotti.

I also wear 'Woman' by Hugo Boss & 'Joop'!
