Sorry not sure what words the form will let me use but DD has VERY smelly wind!
She doesnt poo everyday but does so generally every second day... sometimes 2 days in a row very occasionaly (but still rarely) she might go 2 days.
She is breastfed but is offered a bottle of formula as a top up after half her feeds but rarely takes it. She might have a bottle of formula if she is looked after if I am out but that is not often (less than once a week).
Her poos are a mustardy looking thin clay like consistency which I think is normal for this age and breastfed... they do smell a little but it is that sweet odd smell, not the typical 'poo' smell you might associate with an adult IYKWIM...
BUT her wind stinks like rotten eggs! It is pretty foul!
Is this normal? She doesnt seem to be in pain and only sometimes is a little squirmish around the time she passes wind but i wondered if it could be linked to anything upsetting her tummy? (i am lactose intollerant and have Irritable Bowel but have no idea if these are hireditary) It has been like it pretty much since she stopped pooing multiple poos a day which was a few weeks ago now. I figured since their poo doesnt smell that bad their farts shouldnt!!
