Hello, we moved to Australia 10 months ago. We have a 21 month old and are keen to meet other families. We both work, and cannot meet any other time than on the weekend. We are interested in starting a working parents lunch club that would meet approximately monthly. We would look at alternating a kid focussed day one month, with a parent focussed day the next (and arrange group babysitting through jellybeans or an equivalent). Feel free to contact me if you are interested.

Hi - am not quite a shire dweller, but am in St George and over in the shire most weekends (parents live there). Am a stahm but am interested in meeting other local-ish parents. Where did you move from? My dh is English and we went back twice last year - quite the journey with the little one.

Hi, I also have a 21 month old and am currently on mat leave for my 3 month old but would be interested in something like this. I currently go to a playgroup during the week but DH feels like he misses out. Let us know how you go.

Sounds great. I am in the area. DH and I do not have any friends who have kids. It would be great to be able to relate to other parents.
