Probably an ear infection? Right?
He feels hot, but he's not hot enough to have a temp (can't find thermometer, but my hands and my forehead kiss knows :p) he's been cranky AS since friday morning and about 20 minutes ago couldn't walk a straight line :(

I'll take him to my doctor on Monday but until I get an appointment, what's the best way to treat him?

He just saw YOUR efforts at the awards last night and is imitating you :p

Seriously - panadol, lots of water, and as much sleep as he wants until you can get him to the doctor.

Don't stress if he's not interested in food ATM - keeping him hydrated is far more important.

Hope he's feeling better soon!

I'd give some Children's Panadol etc until you know what the prob is.

Keep up fluids and dress him lightly and sponge off from time to time

Is there a Nurse on Call number that you can call?

Is there a hopsy nearby just in case?

Panadol or nurofen? lol
I gave him some nurofen (silly kid hasnt' been sick in AGES so I couldn't find half his stuff, took me a good 15 minutes to find a syringe in order to administer the medicine)
Anyway, he's now off his tree, running around and giggling, shoving grapes in his mouth and watching elmo... Nurofen does something to him :p I remember giving him some on the plane and he went hyper as well.

Thanks :D

ETA: Yeah, there's hospies and nurses nearby, and a 24/7 doctor that does house calls if I get desperate... but really he's 'fine' just the whinginess and the stumbling.. he's not burning or anything, just a bit warmer than usual. :)

Mmmm, nurofen might actually help a little more, given its an anti-inflammatory. Just make sure you give it to him AFTER he's had something to eat....

I would ring the health line and speak to one of the nurses. see what they think about him not being able to walk in a straight line. They can let you know whether to just wait until Monday or if you should be seeing someone before then.

:fingerscrossed: he's fine.

He has a bit of a red ear and a bit of a red throat, but he should be able to 'fight this one himself' says my doctor (who I love because he hates giving people medicine)... he said that it probably did create the dizzies and just to give him nurofen if he's irritable.
