Belle rice cooker?

Does anyone have one? I bought my husband this years ago (when he lived in a share house) and he used it all the time, but now it sits in the cupboard and we can't find the book for it. I need to know the ratio of rice to water - I tried 2c of water for every c of rice and it went mushy....
can anyone help me?

ours is a tefal..and its 2 of the cups you get with it and i find 450mls of water perfect..plus i stir straight away..i dont know if that will help
