How to make....?

Hi everyone,

Well I am certainly not a traditional mother who knows how to cook :) certainly not cakes and when it comes to decorating or being artisitic well lets just say I leave that to the experts! ;)

Poppy is turning 2 and we are having a party and I really want to make her birthday cake. I thought since we having a pink theme for everything I would like to make a big number 2 cake with just loads of pink things on it!

Can anyone help me out please??

Need to know how to make a 2 to start with and some ideas on what to put on it?

Cheat :) go to safeway and just buy a sponge block cake, i drew a number two with a toothpick into the cake for dd when she was 2 and then cut it out. I got that yummy better crocker icing (its ready to use) and coloured it pink and covered it in a few of her favorite my little pony horses with some cocktail umbrellas and cupie dolls, i wll have to try find the pic but it turned out really cute
