I think i am 12DPO. It was only one spot, nothing since. I could have been from all the checking 'up there' :o.

I've noticed the last couple of cycles i get spotting a day or 2 before AF. It's due Sunday. I've had bad PMS etc this cycle (from lack of herbs/acupuncture) so i'm pretty sure AF is coming.

I can deal with it, I havent' had any hopeful signs to get my hopes up like in other months, plus being so early in the month i get another go testing in March.

But who knows :fingerscrossed: how many ladies have said they were sure AF was coming, but got a :bfp: instead?

Besides, i'm excited about taking Clomid for my April cycle so i am no longer and imposter :laughing:

Well the gyno sent me for bloods to test my progestrone levels to see if im actually ovulating & well they came back with a score of 22 (aparently that means i ovulated lol) YAY! but he wanted us to wait another 2-3 cycles b4 starting clomid (but been on metformin since sept 2007 & waiting) but i said to him that im getting more impataint can we orgaise something bit sooner (thinking maybe wait for 1 cycle) but he booked me in for an apoointment for next thursayd 6th march (day after AF is Due) so i said ill take that appointment.

To those who are taking clomid..what is it like?? what side effects do u have ect??
I have PCOS so ill have to take metformin & clomid at same time.

Hi there you have probably come to the right thread. One of the main sight effects of clomid, (most of us have had ) is Headaches. What clomid does is stmulates (sp?) the pituitary gland, this is the gland that produces hormones.

clomid can be taken from day 2 to it hink about day 7. i hope this has helped hun. I am sure there are other lovely ladies in here will also give you more information.

(i'm sorry i dont want to scare you hun) but everyone is different sweetie...maybe you could pm shea and ask her if she doesn't come on here soon.... But I've been telling myself that when i see my :bfp: its gonna all be worth it!!!!!

I will happen one day but I just can't be bothered getting my hopes up or being sad about it anymore. This will probably last less than a day but that's how I am feeling right now!

I am CD26, had some spotting this afternoon but nothing since. I was the same last month with spotting day 26 then AF arriving on day 28 so Im not getting excited. I don't think I O'd this month so pretty sure AF is on the way.

Had my blood tests done on CD21 but couldn't get in to see the Dr as DS was really sick so no idea if I O'd or not :no:

Well i am officially a day late for AF, i would normally have had at least a day of spotting by now. However i took my temp quite early this morning and it had dropped from 36.8 to 36.4. I fell back asleep for a few hours and checked it again at the normal time and it was 36.7, however i feel like AF is any second away, so pretty sure i am out (yet again!)

I am now cd10, we BD'd last night because DH will be too tired tonight. We're doing it every 2nd day and a few extras around the time I O. My referal letter for the FS is ready to be picked up, as well as my 7dpo blood test form.

Well I have to hand it to mason for at least trying to clean his mess up- once he knew I knew about the drawing, he grabbed his little toy mop and was trying to mop it away :laughing:

My diet is going good...... except for today :o Me and Mason got takeaway for lunch :o But this was my only slip up so far so I have done ok I guess. How is yours going? I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3kg already! :eek: It's not quite been a week but I think it's normal to lose so much in the first week, it will slow down from now on.

My DH and I have been trying to conceive since Dec O6.
I was seeing Dr Tang of next generation fertility in parramatta.

I went through all the tests, heatache and horrible side effects of the medication.

They couldnt find any thing that would be causing this.

I finally ended up on a combination of metformin and clomid. This has resulted in a pregnancy after 3 months of clomid. I found out on Saturday that I had a blood test reading of 1950 which is really good.

So good luck to everyone out there.

I am up to CD 11 i was wrong working things out last night. I think i will also o later as i was a DHead! I forgot all about it but i took my first clomid tablet at 1 am after my wedding not last weekend but the one before so i took it a different time then the rest so i really think i will o at least 1 to 2 days later!

The fact that you had ewcm, even if it was just a little bit, is a great sign because you are meant to record the most fertile cm you see... so even if you only had a little bit of ewcm and the rest creamy, you still record ewcm if that makes sense? Anyway, I rekon this cycle is going to be heaps better for you :yes:

We had public holiday this weekend so just chilled out quite a bit which was nice. Got a bit of a cold coming on now which is not so good! DS has been fighting one for about a week and a half and I think he's just passed it on to me!!

For me the side effects are usually headaches, tiredness (during the day) and towards the last tablet I sometimes feel a little nauseas, but that has only happened once out of 4 cycles of clomid.

Welcome helenmac! Side effects I get are- headache, nausea, BAD ovulation pain, cramps, really tired during the day but hard to sleep at night, hot flushes.....um if I think of more I'll get back to you! I find I get the side effects all the way through, not just while I'm taking the pills but everyone is different.

Welcome sexy_minx! So sorry to hear about your m/c :hugs: Just a question, how come the pill will make you regular? I thought going on the pill can make you irregular because it stops you from ovulating? I have no idea that's all, I haven't been on the pill for years!

Well my diet has been going really good... and my exercise is going great... I'm now doing about 2.5km walking/jogging in the morning and 3km walking/jogging at night.... feeling heaps better....hopefull i'll see some results soon....

I pay around $32 for a box, which is 10 tablets. It will last you different amounts of time, depending on what dosage you are told to take. If on 50mg (1 tablet) it will last you two cycles per box.

Gilda- how many dpo do you think you might be? It's normal to get a temp dip and around 4-5dpo which I think is an estrogen surge or something like that. I get it most months and I think KK does as well. If you haven't O'd yet, don't stress cause it must be just around the corner since you are having ewcm!

My temp went up slightly today but I really doubt I have ovulated already because I am only on cd13 today and also I haven't had my O pain that I get so I'm still waiting for that.

I just got off the phone from FS rooms. I had yet another blood test today! 3rd one in 4 days. I have to have another one on tuesday (monday is a public holiday in canberra).

I whish i knew what the F... was going on.

I normally have 2, cd9 and 14. This time cd11 (because cd9 was on the weekend), cd13, cd14 and now cd19. Look i really hate needles at the best of times but come on 4 in a little over a week i am going to be black and blue!!!

But the strange thing is that told me i am surging! I have to say i really don't understand.

Sorry had to have a winge! Having a really bad couple of days!

So i then giave it to another sopervisor and she took it home. then saved it to her computer and it is 2007 and not compatatble with our work copmuter.

So no i have yet to get the application in, was also told that the due dates have been extended to tuesday.

LOL as i said i am not having a very good day. Have had another migrane today. Come home 2 hours after i got to work this morning. So now that is 2 half days this week!

I can finally say i am now part of this team here as went to see my gyno this morning & he has prescribed me clomid 50mg & i started taking the 1st 1 today.

Yes the price of the 10 tablets were bout $32 which were bit cheaper than i had thought as i thought maybe $40 a month so lets hope i dont have to up my dose.

Im also still taking metformin with the clomid seeing as i have PCOS..gyno said it should help lower the risk of m/c as i have a higher risk of it with having PCOS.

I am also looking for work alot harder now even if it only lasts 3-4 months, just so we can put the money away for when we do finally fall preg :fingerscrossed:..i have been putting off going to the local supermarkets to see if they have any work going coz im not really a people person but its only for a short time & we need the money, so ill go there next week to enquire & maybe 1 of the others i have already applied for will call me for an interview:fingerscrossed:.

Hi M2M, the photo's on facebook of mason are just so cute. Made me extra clucky!

Thankfully it looks like the worst of AF is over with. I'm taking a complete break this cycle - no charting, no planned BDing. Tonight we are going to the circus, tomorrow i have acupuncture, then lunch and movie with my mum then a hens night. We go away for 4 days next week to a resort on the Gold Coast and we are going to do NOTHING!

The rest of March is taken up with easter, birthdays and a wedding, so should fly hopefully. Then :fingerscrossed: I start on Clomid.

I was starting to feel depressed thinking this cycle is our last to have a bub in our arms by christmas, but hey, I'll happily settle for a baby bump and ultrasound picture for christmas!

Hi larazie I actually find i have Nausea, (with out throwing up) too but i didn't know if this was to do with clomid or vitamins or what.

I also was taking clomid at night as it can help with some sight effects.

Gilda- I rekon its possible you o'd on cd22 cause that was your last day of ewcm and then your temp went up after that. I know there are higher temps before that but clomid can make your temps crazy for awhile, that's what the FF guide told me.

Maybe I will ovulate on day 19 again this cycle. I'm on day 17 now and I'm starting to get a stronger line on my OPK and I am still getting bad cramps so hopefully it's not far off! :fingerscrossed:

Well today was my last day of taking clomid for the 1st cycle & i think ive done pretty well not having many side effects apart from feeling little quezzy every now & then but nothing to bad that i couldnt handle it.

I have my ultra scan next monday to see if it has worked & how many eggs im going to release..i cant wait:smiliedance:.

our gyno told us to use condoms after the last tablet & stop BD 3days b4 the scan (to help eith the build up of sprem)...i had to laugh coz i thought it was strange saying that we have to use protection when we r TTC:laughing:.

I think I am going to ask to do another 2 clomid cycles and maybe get something else to help lengthen my luteal phase a little more.

Yeah i am all good. I think i o'ed either saturday or sunday. But i am not totally sure either!

Gilda i think this is your cycle!!

Haylie you never know maybe they may up your clomid. My fs told me because Clomid can make you o later that is why she put me on clomid day 2 to 6. She said i should o around the normal time.

You never know Haylie they may do that. Plus last month it did extend your luteal phase.

I still don't know if I O'd or not. I think my thermometer is playing up because I took my temp this morning and it was 35.77 which is the lowest it has EVER been, so I took it again straight away and it was 36.02 :confused: Then I went back to sleep for another 3 hours and took it again and it was then 36.35 :confused: I had no idea which one to record so I recorded the 36.02 one since it's the one in the middle. My OPK's now show no line at all so I am really confused!!

If there is no line on your OPK it normally means that you have o'ed. So i am guessing that maybe you have already oed. :fingerscrossed: that you have.

she was so nice! was so good to have a nice gyno. although, she did surprise me with an internal and a pap smear.

she has got me to double my dose of metformin, and has sent me for an internal ultrasound to find out what my lining is like. so not back on the clomid yet but thats ok cause she is nice :)

Hehe when I was preg with Mason everyone would say to me that I will have to get up all through the night and I would be sleep deprived. In my head I was thinking what's the big deal cause it's not like I would have to go to work the next day, so I can just sleep in if I have a bad night with the baby. What a joke!!! lol my nephew was like that with me but at that time i was 15 lol, he used to come get into bed with me and make me turn on the tv and i would try to sleep and he would keep me awake. lol

But then again I healped raise him when he was small and at one stage he was calling me mummy. :crying: very sad to think about now but we are still close.

So i guess i have had some experence with this! lol just not too much. :D

Hehe when I was preg with Mason everyone would say to me that I will have to get up all through the night and I would be sleep deprived. In my head I was thinking what's the big deal cause it's not like I would have to go to work the next day, so I can just sleep in if I have a bad night with the baby. What a joke!!! Once Mason is up for the day, so am I. Gilda- tomorrow me & Mason have mothers group in the morning which is always fun. Then I am bringing him home to DH who will be home. I have to go to the shops to get a couple of things, and then get my hair done at 2:30. That usually takes hours cause my hair is quite long now and I get it coloured, washed, cut, and then they straighten it which takes FOREVER since it's so thick.

Then it's our god daughters 1st birthday/naming day on saturday :smiliedance:

damn these meds - the metformin is making me sick again. i just feel asleep on connor's floor for 2 hours! i feel like such a bad mum. he even brought his breakfast into his room and ate it in there and i didn't even notice! i might have to go back to only 1 tablet a day.

connor has taken to drinking out of a tippy cup with a stubby holder - dh has been having a beer after work so thats where he got th idea from im assuming!

I'm not sure if DH will come to my FS appointment, if he does we will have to take Mason with us so I don't know if it's just easier to keep Mason at home with DH.
