This may seem like a dumb question, but can you marinate meat/chicken etc then put them in the freezer?
I would have the meat in single serves but with marinate sauce in the bag... I would leave them in the fridge for a few hours than trnfer to the the freezer...
Would that work??
I've never done it before with my own marinades but heaps of times I've bought meat from the shop that's been marinaded and frozen it no worries-
so you would think that would pretty much be the same- wouldn't it?
I was going to say the same thing. I've never done it but I have frozen already marinated meat.
Not sure if it's reccomended though. Good question.

I ALWAYS do it before I freeze it. It lets the marinade go thru the meat and make it more yummy. It also tenderises as it thaws so it makes it more tender and easier to cut.
My favourite recipe at the moment where I marinade then freeze is:
1 chook
2 lemons
2 cloves of garlic
sprigs of rosemary
salt and pepper
etra virgin olive oil
-Cut the back bone out of the chook then flatten and squash the bones flat.
-Put it in a plastic or large clip lock bag.
-Cut the lemons into 1/4 and squeeze juice in the bag then throw lemons in too.
-Tuck the rosemary under the wings and legs.
-Crush or slice garlic and chuck in.
-Season with salt and pepper and drizzle a few tbl spoons of olive oil in.
-Pop in the freezer till you are ready to eat.
The lemon really make it tender and gives the chook a nice citrus tang.
By cutting out the back bone you can cook it flat and takes about HALF the time! So for a 1500gm chook it takes about 45-50 minutes instead of 1.5hrs!!
