The opposite to premature ejaculation?(tmi)

Hi girls,

This is quite embarressing :o for me to be asking this question but i don't know what else to do :no:

We have been ttc for nearly 8 months,i am on clomid for ovulation problems and long cycles,now that we have that resolved we have another problem.

When ttc #1 we found out df had a slow sperm count,they weren't exactly traveling very fast.

So every time it comes around to ovulation time he has trouble ejaculating if we do it every day there is not a possible way for it to happen it just doesn't.If we do it every second day were ok.

So im quite confused as to why this is happening?

Is there such a thing as mature ejaculation :confused:

has he been looked at to find possible causes for this happening?

No but im thinking it might be best to get him off to the doctors,as i think this is another factor at why its not happening as quick.

Could there be a health problem making this happen?

could be many reasons why its happening

might be a good idea for him to be checked out, it might be nothing at all

he doesn't get all worried and stressed about the TTC thing, cause I do know that some guys find it hard to do their thing when they are under pressure so to speak

Yeah every month that i tell him that we weren't successful he gets upset and frustrated.

I think we are just both so over the ttc thing :eek:

TTC really takes it out of them (literally!!)

my DH gets a bit worn out towards the end of the BD frenzy. it really does become a bit of a chore, but we both have the same goal that keeps us going!! there never seems to be as much baby juice towrds the end of the BDing, i assume because he has uhhum.......you know....deposited most of what he has:p

:yes: you are not alone. DH is so exhausted and worn out from work and the constant disappointment of :bfn: that it really is becoming hard for him to "finish" if we try to do it for day after day. (sorry DH, i'm embarrased for you writing that). I told my gyno and she said it is very common because of the stress and disappointment and every second day is fine.

What makes it sadder is that last cycle he put in every bit of effort, even after working some 14 hour days. I think we BD'd 7 times in 10 days, where before TTC we'd only have it once a week. We still got a :bfn:, and it really is disheartening when you put EVERYTHING you have into it and still no results.

I get about 5 days straight before DP declares that the shop is closed, and he needs time off to restock the shelves.

But I am trying to only bd every 36 hours instead of every 24. i.e. morning on day, night the next. It seems to help a bit. And that is closer to what the majority of girls on here have been told is a better time frame for bd'ing.

Sometimes I think that extra twelve hours helps alot. And you still get the reassurance that you are doing what you can and not 'missing' days.

BD around O really seems to take the shine of it doesnt it. funny that, must be the pressure. we always seems to enjoy it more when its a little more spontanious. but we gotta do what we gotta do right!!
