Yum! I love Jelly Slice its yummy! This is my Grandmother's receipe... nice and easy but very delicious!
1 packet of Marie biscuits (crushed)
½ can of condensed milk
2 teaspoons of gelatine
175 grams of melted butter
Juice of 2 lemons
1 packet of strawberry jelly
Mix the crushed biscuits and melted butter. Press firmly into a 7x11 tray. Chill. Dissolve gelatine in a ¾ cup of boiling water. Mix well with the condensed milk and lemon juice. Spread over the base and refrigerate until set. Make up the jelly as directed by adding an additional teaspoon of gelatine. Allow to cool just until tepid. Pour over the slice and refrigerate. Cut into squares when quite set.

the receipes all seem to be the same for the slice but the real trick to get the layers perfect is to slowely pour the jelly over the top of a spoon onto the condensed milk layer.
Good luck!!
