Hi girls,

I hope you don't mind me joining you all? :)

I'm Kathy and am due for #3 on 14th August. I have two daughters 3.5 and 11.5mths so it'll make 3 kiddies under 4 yo and I'm really petrified.

This has been such a different pregnancy to the girls and I'm hoping for a little boy this time but we'll see next Saturday!!

I hope you don't mind me joining you all.

Kathy

Hi MunnWhanau!!

Welcome :D I've only been here for a few days too - these August girls are fantastic!!!!

WOW - three under 4??? You're definitely going to have your hands full but at least they're going to all grow up close together (mine have huge gaps, at the time I thought it was good, now I'm wishing they were closer).

Are you going to find out what you're having? I wasn't but my ultrasound is next Thursday and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to help myself (although I'm nearly positive it's a boy!!!).

Talk soon

Hi, thanks for the welcome :D

Yeah it will certainly be busy around here and I'm petrified but at the same time excited. This bub was a surprise so even at 18wks I'm still only just coming to terms with another addition! But it's all good.

I had my ultrasound on Tuesday and they couldn't tell but i need to go back next Saturday for a check on some of the organs (apparently the tech didn't do them for some reason?) so I'll get them to have another look then. I'd love a little boy but another girl would be wonderful as well, just healthy is all I can ask for :)

:smiliedance: Thanks so much again for the warm welcome

You are from NZ aren't you as Munn must be your surname and whanau means -family. I am also from NZ but lived here since I was three. I am having a boy on the 13th Aug, had an ultrasound last monday that will mean two boys for me.
You will enjoy this forum lots of interesting topics. Toddlers are a handfull but I just love my son to death he is beautiful.

Good Luck,
Mel:ecomcity:

Hey Mel,

Yep Munn is the surname and whanau = family. Although I'm Australian, my DH is a maori, he's from Whakatane. We're here for another 2 years and then we're moving back, he's very homesick and to be honest I want to go there to, holidays just aren't enough for me anymore!

Yep I'm finding out what it is, I hope it's a boy but a girl is just as wonderful, I've had 4 miscarriages so I just feel lucky to be here really. :)

Thanks for the welcome girls and I hope I don't annoy you to much ;)

Another knocked up kiwi here :D

I have been here about eleven years, since I was about 25, geez it goes quick. Grew up the the Manawatu.

I still talk funny and my son will be an All Blacks fan and I don't care what his bl**dy father has to say about that

Hey shed and Munnwhanau,
(munn Whanau I am also from Whakatane), what a small world eh!!!!My dad is a maori and brought me here many years ago mum and dad rented in Whakatane from when they were 19 years of age. I even work with a lady from there as well, I think it's all meant to be eh!!!What a beautiful country it is and when we get time we like to visit our family in Bay of Islands (Rawhiti) and mum's family are from Taupo.
I have just found out I am having another boy I was so sure it was a girl but not to be I have come round and it does not matter to me at all I will have one more try if the yearning continues for a girl. I'll probably have another boy but that's ok I love my boys, my little one Kayne is so loving but changes like the wind typical Gemini. He is my life and his mum is the apple of his eye too. I am in love with my son int at motherly way. He's drives me in sane sometimes but he makes me laugh so much he is just a hoot.
Good luck and let us know how you go with your next ultrasound,
Melbryan
