:) Hi Everyone, I'm new to this site. I am in my 27th week of pregnancy and had to stop working early because of danger of high blood pressure and/or pre eclampsia. I have been working as a Personal Carer, looking after the elderly and / or disabled.
Having to stay home is going to drive me crazy lol and I am wondering if there are any jobs I could do from home and how to find them. I could work through the internet/ typing/surveys/ anything to keep me busy and to keep me from going insane lol. Where do I start? I don't want to have to spend money to work from home. Any ideas? Would greatly appreciate it.
Kind Regards
Michaela aka LadySpiritAngelFire :o
Hi Michaela
Unfortunately, I don't have any firm ideas for you on getting PAID work, but I'm sure that there are HEAPS of charitable / voluntary organisations who could use some assistance (churches, ABA, playgroups, schools). If all else fails, hook up with a group that shares one of your passions - it will keep you occupied and be a great positive outlet for your energy. You'd think there would be some information on the web that might help connect the willing with the wanting.

Hi Michaela
I sell toys through party plan for a Melbourne based business and before going to that I wasnt able to find anthing I could do without expence and at home. I dont need to spend alot of money other than my kit up front. Alot of the business adds all seemed to be a scam to me.

Hi!
My husband and I are planning a baby, so have joined to get a good idea of what we are in for! :D
I sell party plan cosmetics and skincare and have been told by other ladies in the business that it is great work because you can structure it around your kids and your own schedule. We have no minimum "sell" so can sell nothing in a month and not worry about it.
There's lots of different sorts of party plan businesses if you are interested in doing that. Other ladies I know take in ironing, which I could never do myself, my excuse is that I'm allergic to irons! :p
Another thing I have heard of as a home based business is something called a Virtual Assistant. If you have any clerical skills, this could be good for you. Basically you are paid to type reports, letters, etc as a secretary/clerical worker without going into the office. Some also answer a phone that is diverted to their house, etc.
Otherwise, there are lots of sites that send you emails where you fill out surveys, etc or add an 'ad bar' to your internet browser and get paid for it. Not sure if I'm allowed to post their names here, but if you do a search, you should be able to pick up a few.

Hi Michaela
I am a mum of three little ones aged 4, 2 and my latest edition is now 3 months old. I have been working from home around the children very part time now for the last 20 months and I love it. You do need to be very organised but if feels wonderful as things progress and its a great feeling been self sufficient. There was an immediate cost for outlay of stock, but you can make your own choice how much stock you keep. I did do a couple of jobs before trying this and found this works best for my family and me. I am a big supporter for working at home. I suppose the hardest part is finding the right thing for you, let me know if you have any questions.
Good luck
Karen :p

Hi there,
I am mom of joshua 12 weeks now. During the pregnancy I quit my job cause my pregnancy was not too comfortable for me to continue working. I worked in the advertising industry which needs lots of time and travelling. So I just want to know what work can we do from home...
Thanks...
