We are currently using Pepti Junior, my daughter isn't a great feeder and i have been told that the pepti is an equired taste so pretty aweful. I was speaking to dietition and she said my daughter now 6 months is to young to put her on anything else eg Soy and to try golden syrip or vanilla which i have and didn't make a differance:flowerz:. has anyone else had a similar problem?
yep, my ds was on pepti from the time he was 14weeks old, right thru til he was 2 (when we were no longer entiltled to the gov subsidy) it took him a while to get used to the taste, but now he loooooves it. he also couldnt have anthing dairy/goat/soy etc
but from about 20months hes been fine with small doses of dairy/goat and can eat soy fine... :)
but with the pepti, when we were putting him onto it, we had to change over slowly, 1/4 of his bottle pepti, 3/4 normal formula, then 1/2 and 1/2 the 3/4pepti and 1/4 normal... it took about 2 weeks, but we did it and he loves it now
Yep my dd was as well. I was luck as I BF until she was 12 mths.
I found goat milk and cheese great!. I just had to do a little more planning.
sorry my kids are being scallywags, I will pop back on later ;)
