Hey there, i have been on here in the last couple of years with afew pregnancy scares but now im ready for the BFP. The thing is my partner and i are getting married in a month and are very keen to start a family straight away and have decided to try now......... now i started taking the pill about 2 months ago so i could skip AF for the wedding, i had a few troubles at the start where it was making me bleed for the whole month (sorry if TMI) so stopped taking it and have now been back on it.

Last night i asked my partner if we could just let nature take its course when we bed and he happily agreed. Now im not silly and know that its gonna take more than one time to get pregnant but wishful thinkin huh LOL

My question is: Do you think i could get pregnant while on the pill??? If so, how will i know when to test because i have been skipping my AF so have no idea. Would i leave it for 2 weeks or just wait and see if i get any symptoms????

Sorry for the silly question but i need to get things clear in my head, im all new to this

I'm not saying you can't get pregnant on the pill but if I were you I'd just wait to see if AF arrives. I assume you are staying off the pill now? I'd concentrate on the wedding as it's only 1 month away. I wouldn't bother with HPT. After your wedding then if still now AF I would try HPT or got to doctor for a blood test.

But this is just what I'd do in your shoes, it's really up to you how you deal with it.

Enjoy the wedding for that day will go soooo fast . So create wonderful memories, then move on to your next step in the adventure that lays ahead of you:)
