im confused.. lol.. i only class my Stepson (to be) as a step son now because i KNOW we are getting married... before that it was 'pauls son' (seems strange lol) but then when his son was 4 i was told by his son that iw as one day going to be his ste\p mummy.... :laughing:

my dh and i have always known each others children as our step children and nothing less... as of about 4 weeks into our relationship... but we were engaged 6 weeks into it, married 18 months after that and now we have been together 5 years.
