where have the day time sleeps gone?

Well DS is 22 mths and has decided to stop having day time sleeps (he is still sleeping most days but only for about 30 mins) is this normal for his age? I am 7 weeks preg and really need this rest, is there any way i can make him sleep? I need sleep :hair:

my dd did not have a day sleep from the age of 2yrs. try making the room dark. play alot outside as this can were them out more good luck.

My DS stopped his day sleep at the same age, and I was about 10weeks pregnant with number 2. We introduced 'rest time', which involved him being in his room for an hour for a rest. If he didn't sleep that was fine, I would take in quiet toys and books for him to play with. When he got a bit older rest time became DVD time instead - he would lay on his little lounge to watch 1 dvd after lunch, and during that time I would lay down opn the lounge or my bed for a rest.

yep totally reccomend dvd mummy is going to have a rest time!

I would get small bowl of snacks and a small drink then lay on the lounge next to them and cat nap(I would get piled on or poked so any naps I had were super short)
