Note to self (and the other ladies that I sent there this morning :o)

Playcafe is NOT open on Wednesdays, unless its school holidays :o. Future meets there will need to take place between Thursdays and Saturdays I think I read.

During school holidays I think it is open Tues - Sat.

That is all :D

I think you need to buy Jennifer a case of vitamins! Start pumping in vegies and red meat into her and she should get better and stop any more bugs getting to her.

If she's hungry then she will eat. You are the mum and sometimes its hard but you have to enforce what you want her to eat. Im sure at day care they feed her more than sultanas. :D

Yes, at daycare they do. I find no matter what i put in her bowl and on her plate, if she doesnt want anything to do with it, she'll throw it over the side. Drives me absolutely bonkers.
I can sit there for over an hour trying to feed her and she'll just keep throwing it away. It doesnt matter if its her favourite meal or anything. It will still go.
Some days i'm lucky enough for her to eat something other than the sultanas and weetbix. Those days are really good!

Just wondering if anyone is going to the Play Cafe this Friday?

I am thinking of going as i will have DD and 1 of Sharai's DS's while she's away in Brisbane.

So I have to double check with her first & also see if I can shake this darn cold I've got, but was thinking a trip to the play cafe on Friday might be a good idea.

So wondering if I'll have any complany if I do go?

:yes: Yes Liss. Although I too have missed the last couple myself :( There seems to be a bunch of us going to a play cafe this Friday though so if you're interestered then PM me and I'll send you the details & you are more than welcome to join us :thumbsup:

I miss the playcafe sooo much. My kids loved it there.

I took them to one in Maitland and it was huge but unfortunately it is $18 for both kids to get in and the food is expensive and yuk! Also it was dark and cold.

I am hunting around to find one as good as our regular hang out but so far no luck.

I miss you all and hope you continue having lots of fun.

Say hi to Richard and the Pastor (can't think of his name at the moment - is it Peter) for me.

Look after yourselves and have fun.

We are getting there, kids have been sick with colds since we arrived but are now over the worst of it. Still unpacking and only have about 1/3 of our stuff left to try to fit into the house.

Other than that, we are not far from shopping centres so that is not so bad. As I mentioned on the other thread, Newcastle isn't what I expected. Once we get over the shock, I'm sure it will all work out.

Richard starts work next week so that means I'll be doing it alone! That is the hard bit, not having anyone to talk to again but I should be used to it by now. I'm about to post on the Hunter thread for the first time so hopefully I can make some friends that way :fingerscrossed:.
