when can you hear bubs heart beat with the droper ob/gyno/midwifes use? anyone know?

I just googled it, because a few people have been wondering...
It said it can be detected as early as 8-10 weeks, but normally around the 12 week mark.

a heart beat can be heard via the doppler from between 12 and 14wks, some thin women have been able to hear theirs from about 10wks, some bigger woman later

it also all depends on where the placenta is, if its in the frount (anterior) its harder for them to hear the heartbeat

in both my previous pregnacies they didnt even try till 12 weeks and both times they got it strat up, i wouldnt expect it before then
