Basal Temperature

Hi All, I am new to charting and I am just wondering how much I could expect to see my Basal Temp jump when it's leading up to/ovulation time? Also is using my digital thermometer underarm ok for taking temp? :confused:

Hi craftymum. My gyno said it doesn't matter where you take your temp, as long as you are consistent - ie make sure you always take it under the arm, or tongue etc.

Generally your temps drop leading up to O, then jump following O. You can have a look at my charts if you want. The link is in my signature.
