Anyone from or around the Doncaster Area?

Now that i am feeling better, i was wondering, if there was any one from or around Doncaste are that would like to maybe go for a coffe or a movie or something.

Hey girlie, I'm glad you're feeling better. This morning I read your post from yesterday and I really felt for you. I didn't reply because it seemed there was nothing new to add that others hadn't already said.

If you haven't already, you should go back to the main forum and post under "Chat with other Parents/Parents to be" under Victoria. I see there are a couple already going (I don't know where Doncaster is - North, South etc). Maybe there are a few girls meeting already that you can go and meet up with.

I'm on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and we have set up our own little group of local girls to meet monthly. We've only had one meeting so far, the 2nd is next week. Everyone is really nice.

Also, you should ring Playgroup Association (Ph: 03 9388 1599) and they should be able to tell you where your closest Playgroup is (I pay $2.50 week in Qld). I started a couple of weeks ago. No-one talked to me the first day but because my DD loved it, I went back. Slowly I've been speaking to others. Haven't made any friends that I "do lunch with" or "phone" (yet) but it's an outing and I'm slowly getting there.

I know everyone says you can chat to them on BubHub or MSN (and you're more than welcome to chat to me) ... but it's not quite the same a personal contact.
