I have all the best intentions in the world when it comes to menu planning, but I can never seem to get it happening. I am staring at a blank sheet of paper, and I dont know where to start. Does anyone else use a template or a set up menu that would give me any starting tips?

Help, I am really hopeless at this, and working full time, it would be really helpful if I could get organised!

Yumm, I'm hungry just reading your menu.

I've never planned a weeks menu before. I think I should try it sometime. I just buy meat and veg for the week and think about what I'm going to do with it that morning.

-Sausages, Mash and veges with gravy

We were going to have that tonight but I've decided to change it to Curried Sausages and Boiled Rice......YUMMO!

Do you make your own potato/vege bake?? If so, what's in it?

sure do....but it is more of a chesse back...

it has potato, pasta, (cook both of these before putting into the casserole dish - heaps yummier) and bacon pieces, in a casserole dish. Make up a maggi cheese sauce (usually 2pkts) think it makes like 2 cups, and then pour it over and put grated cheeses on top and then put it all in the oven. til the top has browned

really simple. DP hates cream so i can't do it with cream....you could put other veges in to...

last week i did do it without cooking the ingredients first and it still turned out well, just not as nice IMO!! ;)
