here's the problem....

DD is 16months old and two months ago only started to cut teeth..Wich is great as i have been worried that they weren't going to come!!
I'm still worried because she cut her top MOLAR first (the one next too your eye tooth) she then cut her two bottom teeth (yay) and now the molar on the other top side has cut to. Is this ok or should i still worry. When she was 12months old and had no teeth i took her to the doctors and they said that everything was well formed i just had to wait. Am i just being a worry wart?????:banghead:

has anyone else had very late teethers??

I didn't have a late teether - but just wanted to tell you that she sounds perfectly normal :) Although the books/magazines etc tell us there is a particular order that teeth come in, that's based on the assumption that all babies are exactly the same  Once one tooth pops out, the rest usually follow, in whatever order they want!! I know it's easier said than done, but don't stress too much about it :hugs:

I didn't have a late teether but my DD's teeth came through in all wierd ways. One at the top, then one at the bottom, then none for ages:confused: She looked so wierd!

Now she has 4 on top and 3 on the bottom, I think it's perfectly normal to worry, but relax about it all, they will come through in whatever order they want!:D

As the others have said...she sounds perfectly normal to me. DD first starting teething at around 7 months, her two bottom ones first then 2 top side ones and then 2 middle top ones! Apparently that's not the 'normal' way they cut either!:D That was all by around 11 months. Then nothing until this week - the dribbling etc has started again! I thought she'd only ever have 6 teeth!
My DH's cousin didn't get her first teeth till she was 18months! So every child is different and your's sounds perfect!!
