Very early on I bought a couple of winter all in ones, a hat, pair of booties. They were in neutral colours :) and on sale so I thought why not? I bought size 00 since my DD was in 000 for only a couple of weeks since she was so tall.
I have everything else already so there is very little I will need to buy other than clothes.

This is what we've got so far:
Cot and matching change table
Baby Bath
Bookcase for nursery
6 Baby towels
8 Face washers
Bunny rugs
4 blankets
2x cot sheets
Nappy bag
Capsule (borrowing from a friend)
A dozen cloth nappies (need to get more)
Baby monitor
Assortment of winter unisex all in ones
Singlets, booties, hats etc
Baby's first teddy bear
108 Huggies Newborn nappiesWell that's about it I think at the moment. The next two big items I want to get are the pram and feeding chair for the nursery.

I've pretty much got everything from DS but some extra things I've bought this time are (some I wish I had the first time):
Baby's 1st toy
New change table with bath
Breast pump
Baby carrier
If it's a girl of course we'll get some girl clothes
6 bottle sterilizer (such a pain doing 2 at a time)
Baby's pregnancy & 1st year record
Think that's about it for now...will be getting a tandem pram soon too.

I have most of the big items from my DS 1 & 2, but will need to upgrade the pram yet again. Thinking i will get the mountain buggy twin urban elite. And are also getting the safe and sound baby capsule. And of course lots of clothes once the sex is confirmed, even it is another boy because of the change of season from my other 2 summer bubs. Oh and I always love to do up the nursery, have seen a gorgeous elephant mobile that you can get in red and navy, or pink and white.

Other than stuff i already have from the boys... Yes. I have been shopping HEAPS! and will get worse once i find out the sex i am sure! LOL especially if this one is a girl.
As i was told by DH that we were NOT having a 3rd, i sold all of the baby clothes as hayden grew out of them (so up to size 0) so ever so sadly, have to buy again... Gee... sucks hey! LOL
SO i have
LOTS of 2nd hand bonds wondersuits from ebay (i think about 15 all up so far in various sizes, but mostly 000 or 00. and various colours- blues and pinks inc.)
A double pram (got for $169 at toys are us!)
A 2nd hand pram from ebay ($30 in great condition)
A box of newborn nappies on sale at safeway for $30
Car seat- (as i use the 3rd seat now anyway for my niece who i look after 2 times a week) But had to get 2 new seats in the end, a booster and a compact car seat to get them all to fit across the back seat... but got to keep the maxi-rider so am happy! And Sold Hayden's old one on ebay for almost $70 more than we originally paid for it brand new!:yelclap::ecomcity:
Bassinet (2nd hand from ebay)
Some Bassinet sheets on sale for $7 each set.
Some wraps and blankets in pink and blue (will use the other ones for pressies, but they were on BIG specials on the discount table, so couldn't leave them! LOL)
Um, i think that is all.

Wow! You all are so organised. As a first time mum and with no friends/sisters who have any kids, I need to start from scratch! It's been a bit daunting trying to compare quality and price of baby products. Trying not to go overboard as we have limited space in an apartment.
I get really silly every time I go near the Infants ranges in department stores and see 0000s or 000s. Does it have this effect on anyone else? I've already bought quite a few from the baby bonds range (in white and lemon as we're not finding out the sex of the baby).

When buying bonds, buy one size larger than what you are wanting with their baby range especially with 1 piece suits like wondersuits. Their 000 are actually more like 0000!

We have everything we need, having already had a child, but just need to replace a few things that my sister loaned me, like:
Baby bath
Walker
Steriliser
Baby Sling
Basinette - thinking I might buy a snugabed
Maxirider for Lachlan
I have just recently bought all boy 0000 and 000 clothes, seeing as Lachlan was a surprise and everything was unisex. So I would like this baby boy to have blue right from the start.

I have pretty much got everything now!
Being a first time mum i really had no idea on what was the best and best value for money etc.. So i have spent heaps of time researching on the web. Forums are just the best things to find out what other mums recomend before you go buying.
So far we have got:
*Boori Cot and matching Change Table
*Emmajlunga Pram
*Tommee Tippee Breast Pump
*Tommee Tippee Steraliser
*Tommee Tippee bottles
*Tommee Tippee Ultimate Monitor
*Fisher&Paykel Baby Bath
*Nappy Bucket
*Cot Sheets, 3 x Flanelette, 2 x Cotton
*Safe & Sound Premier Car Seat
*Ergo Baby Carrier
*Cloth Nappies
Plus lots of little things, bonds coveralls, target singlets, a couple of dummies, and other random stuff.
Not buying anything else now, got all the big stuff and everyone wants me to leave stuff for them to get at baby shower and when bubs is born.
I really want a grow bag, but going to wait untill bubs is born. So i can buy one in either a boy or girl theme, instead of nutral.

we have most things, but may need a new pram. and when we find out either boy or girl, we'll need some more winter-y type clothes and a new baby bag cause the old one died.

We are getting the mountain buggy twin, pricy but I think it is worth it. We will have 3 under 4, so it will be worth it 4 us. We also have the phil and teds which I love and is great 4 two kids, but no option to carry the 3rd. We will be using the phil and teds for shopping centres etc, and the mountain buggy mainly for walking around home, when I have the 3 of them on my own. Hope this helps!
