Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there are any bully fans out there. We have a beautiful bully and she is just the most lovely natured dog. I get a bit sick of people giving them such a bad wrap. We have had so many negative comments about owning a bully with our little one. Our bully adores our little girl and is protective of her. Dont get me wrong i dont trust ANY dog with babies but i just get a bit tired of people saying that it's just bullies and they are such aggressive dogs. I dont know maybe we have been really luck with our one but i have known a few and all of them that are raised properly are amazingly gentle giants.

I agree, it is all about HOW a dog is raised, not the type!! I'd NEVER trust any animal with kids. My daughter is friends with five pig dogs!!! and they are so gentle the only time they go off is if she needs help with something they come over and bark at us to help her or if they're pigging and they're on the job!! My Partner was raised with Rottweilers and they were great!!

I agree it's so true, any dog can be aggressive it just depends on how they are raised.
Rotties are another beautiful animal that get such a bad wrap and it's so far from the truth.
Please excuse my ignorance but i have never heard of pig dogs, what are they?? sorry :p

A 'Pigdog' i s used to hunt pigs. They're pretty much a mix of all the 'bad' dogs..eg: great dane, mastiff, staffy, bullies, boxer. even cattle dog..each pig hunter has a mix they like and they breed to that.:D

I know how hard is it? they are all sooo cute. We have recently been thinking of getting one to. We ended up with a kitten because we rent and the R/E is a bit funny. We really want a pure breed bully, male. Our beautiful girl is bully x pitbull. Although in saying that she is 90% bully. she is so beautiful:yelclap:
She is so gentle. Even likes the cat (we have 2 now) dont let her near kitten yet, she just bit too big and doesn't realise
What breed do you think you would really like?

Hey, we have an American staffy and people are always mistaking him for a pitbull. Since he was a puppy we have been taking him to the dog park to socialise, and he is the friendliest dog, like a bulldozer but full of fun!

We get a lot of negative comments from fluffy dog owners, which is funny, because he wants to be friends and their dogs just bark at him. Don't get me wrong though, I love the fluffies too, all dogs are good.

Having said all that, we never leave him and the dude alone. I don't care what the breed is, a dog is a dog.

Hiya there,
I absolutley agree, i walk our beautiful girl everyday at the beach and i get comments and looks that could kill from people with little doggies. She also just wants to play but just doesnt realise her strength:p
She is the biggset sook and when our back is turned she 's sharing her kennel with the cat:hugs:

You guys are making me miss my Staffy dogs. We had 2 growing up and I had one of my own when I left home. Now we're in a unit so it would be too cruel to have another staffy without a large backyard and no time or energy to walk him.

When we get a bigger place, a dog is top of the list of new purchases. :smiliedance:

Hiya Everyone,
i know arnt just all doggies fantastic, they are so smart
Our girl is huge now, and when we brought her home she fit in the palm of my hubby's hand. She is so solid and just barges through what ever is in front of her. We did the same thing we lived in a unit for ages and we just couldn't wait any longer, a week before we moved out we got our girl:thumbsup:

Hiya bindi86,
Im back too :smiliedance: Isn't it just such a hard choice to make:confused: They are all just so adorable. I know what you mean we are half way to a zoo at the moment. We have a bird , two cats and our bully girl. Oh and a couple of unwanted pests from time to time:laughing: Im sure you will make a great choice. We cant wait to get new pup!!!
