Ok, I've got a favour to ask girls. I would like to do some baking today and would really like to try out the Deceptively Delicious brownies. Is there anyone with the book who would be prepared to post the recipe or PM/email it to me? Pretty please with sugar on top:D??

That's the whole point - to hide vegies in stuff your kids wouldn't expect to find them in. Apparently the chocolate and other ingrediants mask the taste. I'll let you know what its like after I've given it a go.

I tasted some a few weeks ago and you couldn't taste the carrot & spinach. The book says that it takes 15 mins to make and about 40 to cook (I think). You do have to wait until they are cold to eat them otherwise you can taste the hidden ingredients.

Thank you to everyone who was kind enough to forward me the recipe. I made them on Sunday and while you would never have known that they had spinach and carrot in them they were not the nicest of brownies in my opinion. I might try the better homes and gardens ones next time - I suppose I could try just putting the vegie purees in those!
I'm keen to try some of the savoury recipes from the book though, so if I do those I'll make sure to let everyone know what they are like.
