I have a size 16/18DD breasts and I am forever trying to get a button-up top...with no success. Sure...I can FIT INTO button-up tops...but not FITTED ones.

If they're fitted, I can either get them to fit my stomach and have them not do up around the boobs, or have them fit my boobs and be super-baggy around my belly. I'm not in any way skinny around the middle...but I do have a very curved back that goes in quite a bit, and my stomach is semi-flattish.

Does anyone have ANY IDEAS as to where I can get a button up top that MAY fit my boobs? I want to look professional sometimes (Mind you, I don't work, I just WANT to look like i do..lol)...and I just can't find a top to suit!

I am sorry but I think you are pretty much dreaming unless you sew some buttons onto a fitted top. I have 12 E boobs and I know your pain.

Hi SassyMummy,

I'm an 18E and also hate the baggy "hangs straight from the bust" look - as if having big boobs denies the existence of a waist!!

I buy (or did, before maternity clothes became necessary!) almost all of my "fun clothes" from the US website Torrid www.torrid.com . They seem to make all their stuff for bigger boobs, and it's all really nicely fitted. It's expensive to ship over (about $95 in postage for 12 items) but if you wait for their half price clearance sales, you can pick up tops for under $10 US, buy 12-14 things for about $400. So it's not worth it unless you order a bit of a haul. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying at Myer!

I got into Torrid via Ebay. I have a couple of utterly gorgeous fitted buttoned shirt from there, and they fit perfectly. You could grab a couple of things from Ebay, to check for size before you think about a big order. There's almost always a few goodies listed.

Also with US sizes you get to go down a size! So if you're an 18, you'd buy a 16 etc.

Might not be what you're looking for but just thought I'd let you know what's worked for me!
