According to OPK and Temping, my AF is arriving 15-16 days after O (on Clomid). I thought the rule of thumb was 14? (So if AF is late, you assume you O'ed 14 days before that)!!

Also if AF arrives after 7.30pm, do you make that cd1 or the next day cd1...?

It is a myth that women ovulate on day 14 and get AF 14 days after that. That is based on a text book perfect 28 day cycle, but not every woman has that.

The Luteal Phase (time from O to AF) can vary quite a bit. Usually 11 - 16 days is considered normal. Anything less than 10 days is called a Luteal Phase defect and the egg doesn't have enough time to implant. Also not everyone ovulates on day 14.

You will find generally your luteal phase is the same from cycle to cycle, but if you have hormonal balances this can effect your cycle.

Thanks for that. I am finding that I O on day 17 and AF arrives around 15-16 days later. I thought that maybe I had my O days mixed up or something! Also I thought the no matter what AF should arrive 14 days later! Thanks!
