A special thread, I know there are at least four of us...maybe a few more :D

I had my first interview with a midwife today, she was nice but not sure if she is what I need for my primary midwife.

It's a great experience to interview quite a few though.

I know there is alot more than i expected (HB'ing sep mummies) so hi:wave:

Its good that you have started interviewing, i think you said you had two more lined-up? well GL i hope you fine one soon, its a great feeling knowing that you are all booked in.

Question, has anyone else booked their middy?

I don't want a midwife but hubby does, which I have to admit is frustrating. I am doing some research. We have a friend who is studying midwifery so maybe she will stand in.

There are seven in my immediate vicinity so plenty of choice.

I heard about subsidy for a midwife but not sure how it works.
I really don't want to pay for one. Since I don't want one.

I like 2 of the midwives I have met so far, I am not going to interview anymore, just choose between them. It's a difficult decision but I think one stands out a little bit more than the other.
