can we persue the idea of a play date?

I'd rather not go to the indoor play centre that is at the south end of town, I find i can NEVER relax there, but if anyone has any ideas, can we choose a day. I'd love to meet you all.

Chances are we have all passed each other in grand central from time to time, i'd be one of the other mothers dragging along a 3yo, but trying to check out all the other babies in their prams.

I was also just thinking of the group that meets in the jacaranda room once a week. Does anyone know about that one?

Maybe we can catch up one morning at the chocolate cottage or something. plenty of space for the older kiddos to run around, and we can get a coffee (and cake!!)

but count me in, apart from kindy and playgroup, we'll try to come. (I really need to meet other mums!!)

are Wednesdays good? I will have both girls with me on wednesdays during February. any day is pretty good with me. If we do catch up at the chocolate cottage though, they are closed on tuesdays, and the weekends are pretty busy there. And thursdays would be bad for me there.. (I already do a lunch date there on thursdays).

Or if anyone can think of a better place? Perhaps someone can think of a place where the kids can paint or do craft?

Wednesdays are good for me! not too sure on kid friendly places, i will have to wait a little while though as im going in for an operation on Tuesday so when im all recovered toatlly want to meet!

I hope the surgery goes well. As soon as you are feeling up to the play date idea, let us know, and we will organise it. I am actively seeking places that we can play. Maybe even at queens park, there are a couple of nice cafes on margerat street that we could get take away coffee and cakes from... just a thought.

Will have to skip this play date at the moment girls. But would love to catch up with you all. On the corner of ruthven and russell there is a kath ****son play centre thing which kids can do art from also has a toy library. It only opened on the first so not sure what its like. I've just walked past it and thought i should investigate that.
