I'm Anna and I'm a busy mum of 4 kiddies. My eldest was 5.5 years when my youngest was born. Chelsea is 6, Nicola 4.5, Imogen 2 & Alexander 6 months.
I've just turned 29 and DH Shane and I have been married for 8 years in February.
Born and raised in Tassie, I just love the relaxed lifestyle we have here in our cruisy beach side suburb.

I came across an interview of Hilary & Brad in my Mother & Baby magazine when I was pregnant with DD3 and decided to check out bubhub - and have been hooked ever since and made some true lifelong friendships.

My earliest memory is.... my first day of kindergarten, wearing my favourite print dress, white bonds t-shirt, red knee hi socks, and the cutest blue lunch box you've ever seen!

I wish I had.... 5 minutes of totally uninterrupted peace and quiet at least once a day. While I'm at it - I may as well wish for 30kg to disappear overnight - I think there's more chance of that actually happening . . .

My happiest memories are....
* My wedding day - in particular the look on my hubby's face as I was walking down the isle toward him (I love looking back on the photos of him!)
* The overwhelming, heart-breaking love I felt for each of my children moments after giving birth
* Camping with my family when I was growing up. I don't remember one single Easter where we didn't camp.

My most humiliating moment was.... having an argument with my mother when I was 16 about her not letting me drive the car to school (on my L's) because we had my younger brothers with us. I was so mad I screamed at her "I can do anything I want but you won't let me!!"

My last meal would be.... Roast marinated lamb, roast veggies, chilled wine, dessert would be warm chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache, raspberry coulis & King Island cream. No contest. :D

When I was a child I wanted to.... go to Antarctica with my dad (he was an expeditioner) to see the fairy penguins! (Oh I also wanted to be a teacher, a fairy and a dancer).

It's not fashionable but I love.... My ugg boots. Can't get through a Tassie winter without them!

The last big belly laugh I had was.... laughing at Alex laughing, he started laughing back, I laughed at him laughing at me laughing, he laughed even more . . . well, you can see where this is going . . .

If I were a car I'd be.... a Lexus, mmmm . . . *drool*

If I wasn't me I'd like to be.... a member of 'Friends'

Hello! I'm Anna and I'm 29. I'm SAHM to 4 beautiful children: Chelsea, Nicola, Imogen and Alexander and baby number 5 is due is June 09 :D :yelclap:

1. Are you married or single?
Married to Shane since 2000

2. What sort of birth did you have?
* Chelsea, 5lb 7oz - induced 2 weeks early due to severe swelling. Gel, pethadine to help me sleep, forceps to bring head down before pushing her out myself - 18.5 hours of labour.
* Nicola, 8lb 1oz - waters broke at home. Was at the hospital less than an hour before I gave birth. Active, drug-free, 2.5 hour labour.
* Immy, 7lb 8oz - 6 hours of the most excruciating active posterior labour - baby turned 270 degrees rather than the 90 degrees she was suppose to. Active, drug-free labour.
* Alex, 7lb 6oz - 2 weeks of solid pre-labour. Active, drug-free, 2.5 hours of the most intense, forceful labour.

3. Preferred parenting style?
No set parenting style, we did what worked best for us including "Babywise", a little CC & the naughty spot. We seem to have found a good balance that works for all of us so far.

4. Do you have brothers and sisters?
2 brothers.

5.Are they older or younger than you?
Both younger (yes, I'm the bossy boots big sister! :D)

6. Have you ever met a famous person?
Nope. My only claim to fame is getting a kiss on the cheek from the cute drummer at a Diesel concert! (Come on, I was 14!!)

7. What countries have you visited?
Only Australia so far, but would like to visit the USA & Greece, among other places.

8. What do you do on Sundays?
Sunday is usually family time - spent either at home, at a park, a trip to bunnings, flying kites, day trips etc then one of us gets a few groceries and we get the kids ready for school the next day.

9. What kind of people do you like?
Happy people who love life and who have a positive energy. Honesty, reliability and compassion are traits I admire.

10. Who has had the most influence in your life?
My grandmother. She came over to Australia from Greece when she was a teen, in an arranged marriage. She had 4 kids, worked in a shop 18+ hours a day and is 110% totally committed to her family. Her stories, her hardships, her life - all make me want to become the best I can be for myself and my family.

11. Would you like to be famous?
Nope. I don't handle attention very well at all.

12. How many different towns or cities have you lived in?
Do suburbs count? If so, 8.

Sunset walks along my local beach are AMAZING and a great time for reflection.

Cooking - I love cake making & decorating. Bubhub, photography, camping, craft and I'm sloooowly learning to knit.

19. What's something you do well?
Cook/bake cakes & create gorgeous children!

20. Which sports do you like to watch/play?

21. Are you a 'morning' or 'night' person?
I do nights better - mornings are usually hectic in my household!

I don't really have one but I recently read this and feel it rings true for me:
"You have to catch kids when they're falling, but not stop them from climbing".
