My AF arrived at 14dpo (Monday) my temp did drop slightly at 12dpo not below the coverline though and since then keeps rising. My af has been heavy and painful as usual too.
This is my first full month charting so not really sure if this is normal or not, has anyone had or heard of this??
I'm confused? :banghead: Thanx in advance

Hello,
I am certainly not an expert with this - there are a few bubhubbers who are really good at answering temp questions but i'm not!! But just wanted to let you know that my temps normallly go down just before AF and then come up again - apparently its pretty normal to have weird temps during AF. Hopefully someone else can give you advice too!! Good luck.

thanks for the reply bubfee, seems like everytime I post a question I don't get any answers.
I had wondered if it was worth temping during AF. Guess I'll see what it does next month.

I think it's still worth temping during AF but just dont treat those temps too seriously - before long you'll be able to work out your own normal pattern - or you'll be utd and temps wont matter :D:fingerscrossed::babydust2:

Its definately worth temping.
Yes Bubfee is right...as a general rule your temp usually spikes at o, then either stays high if pg or drops with af ...
HOWEVER
everyone is different.
The thing with temping is - everyone is different. Everyones temp does different things at different stages of their cycle......
In order for temping to be useful for you .... to predict o or give you an idea of whether or not you are pregnant ....is to temp every day for at least 3 months.
You need to find out what is normal for you......
Good luck :hugs::hugs::hugs:

Hi mumwannabe
It is pretty hard to comment without seeing your chart. Also as katies mum said, every woman is different so what you are looking for are similarities and differences within your own cycle.
My temps are generally pretty eratic during AF. They drop low the day it starts but dont really follow a pattern until i approach O.
You can look at my charts if it helps? (link on the signature below)
