Please help me with this Clomid question...

Has anyone taken Clomid to regulate cycles, didn't fall pregnant, but then fell pregnant OFF Clomid??

Last July I fell pregnant very easily (NOT ON CLOMID). This ended in M/C at 5 weeks. I went on Clomid right after as my cycles were very irregular (32-40).

I have been on 6 rounds of Clomid and all BFN (well one of them I got a BFP follwed by AF 2 days late).

I am thinking of taking a break from the Clomid and TTC without them. I know I O on my own and that my cycles might be irregular, but I am thinking that Clomid is the reason why I am not concieving. Sounds wierd, I know, but last july I O'ed on day 21 and I fell pregnant basically after the first month of really trying (tracking O etc).

What do you think?? Please share your stories!

Sorry - I fell pregnant on round 6 of clomid - but it was after we had decided to abandon the treatment because I didn't think it was working - so I believe it was because we had stopped "trying" iykwim - it happened the day that we decided to stop trying.

I knew at the start of the last (6th) cycle that it was going to be my last if it didn't work, but that thought didn't help me! IKWYM, sometimes it happens to people that way.

I have heard of a lot of women falling pregnant naturally just before starting IVF, I am sure they were on clomid at some point TTCing!!! Where are they!?

i did clomid. It didnt work. It did however give me polycyctic overies. Soooooooo chances of me falling preg before ICSI starts in feb/march is very slim to none!!! I did however have totally different problems to you. I dont cycle at all......and dh has dodgy sperm! soooooo as you can imagine, its like we are up sh*t creek without a paddle. good luck sweetie and i really hope you fall preg soon! have you tried accupuncture!??!?!?!!? it is really great for cycle help!!!
