has anyone had any luck with IUI and how may goes till it work

Well IUI worked for me and DH after 9.5years of infertility and previous IVF attempts. Actually it worked first time for us and we now have a healthy 6 month old girl.:smiliedance:

We were told that it wouldn't work for us and that conception rates on IUI with pre-exisiting infertility issues were attrocious! But we got a new Dr who wanted us to try the simple things before more IVF and it worked 1st go.

I was on chlomid (althoughI ovulated by myself anyway) and had the bloods and Internal ultrasound to monitor and pedict ovulation.

I ahve a friend with no fertility issues doing IUI at the moment and iuts try no. 3 with no luck so we were very lucky. Best of luck
