This is the thread where you all think quietly "move away from the insane pregnant lady", but here goes.

Last night I was lying quietly on the couch - DH was at work, and DD's were both in bed asleep. It was quiet, I was relaxed, and then it happened ... buttefly wings in my lower abdomen.
Now, I've been preggers before (twice), so I know what it feels like to feel a baby moving inside you. And I tell you what, that's EXACTLY how it felt!
For those of you who are having bub number 3+, how insane do you actually think I am? I mean, I am only 7weeks according to my dating ultrasound - give or take a week he said!
Weird! Feedback always welcome, even if it is negative response to my mental health.
Cheers

I think you notice it more cos you have been preg before. I am noticing the stretching now and sure I feel something else going on! I am only 8 weeks.

you know what, i think your mental health is fine, but i just want to mention that i get 'phantom' kicks alot, i know they are not bubs because some times they are to high to be my little tumbling beautiful baby, but it makes me wonder, i even felt some with my hand a couple of days back, (hey maybe both our mental health needs checking!!!!) i guess all you can do is wait, 7 weeks sounds early, but this is your body, remember that:) (i am not quite 7 weeks)

Last pg I was certain I felt flutters at about this stage too.
But then they stopped for a bit and then I def felt real movements about 14/15 weeks (still fairly early)
I don't know, maybe the earlier movts I felt were just my intestines moving about... not sure....

But I don't think you're crazy :D

i thought I had the same thing a couple of days ago - then thought it was gas or something! (except gas doesn't normally feel like that!) who knows!

Yeah, I felt the same thing a day or two ago, but you do need to think about where your uterus is and where the feeling was and it should give you the answer

Oh wow!! This makes me feel SOO much better, cause I thought I was imagining things!!

This is bub #3 for me too, and I could swear that I have felt a few "flutters"... I am only 7 wks 4 days!

So, no.... from seeing what you said and what others have said, you are SOOO not going insane - if so, we ALL are!!

I suppose its the bub getting nestled in our womb and I am sure it does move around a bit somehow!!

Thanks ladies for making me see that I am not going totally mad!
I have felt the flutters about 4 or so more times, and I am convinced it's bub. It is directly behind the pelvic bone, but above it by about 1-2cm. It's in the right area! I don't know, maybe just wishful thinking, but I love it anyway!
Thanks
