When did your babies drop their afternoon bottle? My DD has started decreasing the amount she drinks at her afternoon bottle. She use to have 200mls but just recently has only wanted 150mls. I was thinking she wouldn't drop this bottle when i transistioned to cows milk around 11-12months????

Every baby is different so dont stress just go with what she wants.
My bubs dropped the 4th bottle around the 7mth age to then want it again around 9mths & has done since. But he has fluctuated a lot especially during summer & also when teething. We had days where i was lucky to get one bottle into him & one meal !!! Was very frustrating.
We have just hit 12mths & im trying to take him back down as he is starting to refuse solids so i dont want him filling on formula.
Always remember they know when they are hungry or had enough try not to stress too much she wont let herself starve. Just try & add in more dairy in her meals to compensate so say let her have a yoghurt with her dinner or some cheese with lunch.
Good luck :D

my son is making the transition to cows milk. at the moment he is dropping his lunchtime bottle. on days he goes to day care he will have a bottle at 9am and refuses milk at daycare and wont want a bottle till he comes home. he drinks water happily. and loves yoghurt and cheese and other dairy foods. im just a bit worried he is trying to give up too many bottles at once:confused:
