How much?? TTC # 2

hi there,

we are in second month of TTC#2.
Last month we BD every day leading up to and a few days after o thinking that we would have best chance.

Now after reading other posts, people say doing it everyday isnt the best option...and AF turned up today so thats my BPN. :(

Just wondering which way to go next month - every second day?? Can anyone tell me what they did to get their BFP??

I know its only our second month but i am really down in the dumps and am interested how people timed their BD leading up to their BFP....

Thats very true. Sperm needs about 24hrs to rejuvinate. My DR said quality of the sperm is better than quanitity of time you have sex anyways. If you are doing it everyday, in the end not much will be coming out and you will be giving yourselves the worst chance possible. And if you end up bing like most of us and it is taking a few months to fall pregnant it can become were tyring for you DH. You'll both just become exhausted and stressed and that doesnt help either.

DH & I did it every second day when we fell pregnant with #2, although we were not trying. We fell pregnant on my first ovulation after having DD. But falling pregnant with DD took 9months because we were doing what you are doing and was BD every day for 7-10days before ovulating. It was very stressful and we ended up fighting alot because of it.

Maybe next time cut down and do it every 2nd day to give the spem time to regroup. If then it doesnt happen after a few months and you are still stressing or worried speak to your Dr.
