I've left this until the last moment and everything is shut.

I've got butter, flour, white sugar, eggs, milk, cocoa and about a cup of icing sugar.

Quick (and yum) recipes please :D

Sounds like a chocolate cake with chocolate icing is the go.

Google and you shall find.
Theres not much difference between choc sponge cakes, most recipes are the same.
You could split the sponge in half and spread with jam then put back together and ice.

two cups of SF flour
one cup of milk
one cup of sugar
half cup of oil
one cup of grated nuts or coconut or cocoa
three eggs
i add grated lemon skin and vanilla essence
mix all together, put in the pan and bake 180 for 30min and than 150 till done

thats a short cake .. you can cut it in half, spread some marmalade and put chock on top
