Teach me about cervical position...

So I've been experiencing a few potential pregnancy symptoms, and so now I'm curious about cervical position.

How does it go during your cycle... and what happens to it when you've fallen pregnant (the first 5 or so weeks)?

Any info would be great...

AF is due today... yesterday my cervix was low and hard (I've been checking my CM, so I have felt it while doing that), and today it's so high I can hardly reach it, and it's all soft and squishy. I dunno if that has anything to do with anything... which is why I'm asking. lol.

in my first 5weeks mine was hard, tightly closed and high...

different from when ttc, as my cevix never ever went tightly closed then.... so when it went tightly closed thats when i thought i 'might be' preg... then i got the BFP and checked it again and it was still high, tightly closed and hard

oops and while ttc it was

either High, open, soft, wet (around Ovulation)
or low, closed, hard, dry (other times)

how do i explain this one!?

i guess i just learnt what my cervix feels like, 19months worth of learning lol ummm basically after you have had a bub your cervix doesnt really tightly close, so theres wide open, and just open (which i counted as 'closed' while ttc) but the month i found out i was preg it was just different, it was actually closed, no gap etc...

hope that makes sence, lol its not the easiest thing to explain :D

Hmmmmm... well I just googled it and apparently open feels like a kissy-faced mouth... and closed feels like pursed lips... but I can't feel either? I dunno my cervix that well... so I dunno.

Actually, I could JUST reach it I think... just before. It's moved up quite a bit, and seems to be somewhere between hard and soft... not really soft, but not hard hard either. And up really high.

Oh well, I'll just wait and see. Thanks QTB for the help and the trying-not-to-be-TMI description...:p
