I'm moving to the coast!

Well its official, we have decided to get our acts together and move to the central coast! Im so excited yet scared! Me and DP have never lived together and we compromised and decided to meet almost half way and live on the coast.

I lived there a few years ago before i had kids so i kinda aknow my way around! I lived in Kanwal, but we are hoping to move near tuggerah way cause Dp has to travel to work to Sydney, so just wondering what are some nice suburbs down that way and ok for rent wise. We want to pay around $300 a week

There are a lot of nice houses for rent at the moment in Mardi, Tuggerah area.

Depending on how many bedrooms you will need, there are some nice ones under $300:yes:

Oh I want to live behind westfield, really nice houses there! lol

Places near tuggerah I'd choose are Chittaway point or bay, Berkeley Vale and Glenning Valley.
Though, keep in mind I live near The Entrance and it usually only takes me about 15-20 minutes to drive down Wyong Road to get onto the freeway (although, generally faster to gosford.. but, meh, wait til the road works are finished!!).

lol ditto thats why Im still living near the coast!! Though, Im about dead centre between Westfield and Erina Fair, so I still manage a fair bit of damage! :p

Hi Jazcoop, I live at Kanwal atm :) Rent around here is between $200-$300 a week. We're in 3br & its $210 :D

Im at Buff Point and we are currently paying $255 a week in rent for a 4b/r with a monstrous backyard.

As the others have said there are some really nice places around for under $300 a week and close to the F3 as well.

I booked my p's but how cr@p is this, the earliest they could get me in for the driving test is five weeks away. lol So I go for them in March.
As soon as I have them there will be no excuses for not coming to meets. :shame:

The northern end of the coast has some beautiful beaches and is reasonably quiet. There are some brilliant homes around for the price range you are looking at. Im at Buff Point/Budgewoi area and there isnt any real wait as such for preschools. The primary schools are also really good too.

My parents own a beautiful home in Woongarrah and it is fairly new and they built it within your price range, including land. :)
