Hello.

Sorry I havent been on over the weekend. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Sorry bout the m/s Tegz. When you due? I have been very lucky and had very little symptoms at all. And they have completly gone now.

How was everyones easter? Mine had its good and bad. We went to a wedding on sat, very different, but lovely. Sunday we went to mandurah (mum and dad have an onsite caravan. It was very relaxing and yesterday i had the day to myself YAY :smiliedance:

The bad was that yesterday I had some very minor spotting. But i'm not sure on if it bordered the line of actual spotting or if it was nothing. I'm not worried about it as it was very little and has stopped. But it was enough to see me on the couch and not moving yesterday.

Thats abit scary, same age, same name, one suburb apart. Difference is you have 3 and 1 on the way, I'm having my first. he he :yelclap:

I can't believe how exciting it actually is. I mean I was very clucky, but the emotions you feel are so very different than you can ever imagine. I think I'm just weird....

How is you preg going? How old are your other 3?

mygirls
24-04-2006, 16:09
Yeah i agree that is pretty strange :) ...All is going quite well my morning sickness is okish (lol) except it can last all day or just suddenly turn up in the afternoon, im not too emotional...i guess after having 3 previous pregnancies i know whats going on & just allow myself do deal with it...iykwim- (though it doesnt stop me blubbering when i see the ppl cry on the biggest loser..) The best thing for me is not having really sore bb's...everyone else seems to have it but not me :smiliedance: My other 3 girls are 3.5yrs,2yrs & just turned 1...so it will be 4 under 4 1/2 when this bubs is born & im going to be a busy mumma :)

It is so exciting having a baby & i think having your first always makes it just that little bit more so..not that the others arent you just kinda know what to expect...but all that new stuff, buying the pram & cot etc it brings back wonderful memories of when dh & i were expecting our 1st.. so NO your not weird at all !!! My dh used to smell our dd#1 socks when i was in hospital after i had her...so cute...where are u having ur bub?? In Rockingham or else where???

Well must be off chat soon

hello

Tegz: How did your scan go? Yep the whole labour thing is something I am not ready to think about yet.

Kristy: Hows everything going with you? I understand about the sore bb's. Mine haven't been sore at all - Unless my DH has anything to do with it

We had our NT week scan on friday. Everything was excellent :smiliedance: But I did squash the porr little thing. I drank too much water and he was wedged between the placenta and the bladder. :o

Tegz- Dont worry yourself about the birth...its still a while away yet. This is our #4 bub & labour still sends makes me cringe yet im gong to do it again so it cant be all that bad & all mine where drug free...our little ones have to come out eventully so try not to worry & DONT listen to all those horror birth stories some women are always so eager to tell you about...you 'll be ready when the time comes

Kris - LOL...you squashed the baby:laughing: ...glad to hear everything went ok..its great to see bubs isnt it!!..I had some spotting last week so my ob got me to have n u/s to check on bubs..all is ok (i had the same thing happen with DD#1) it had an excellent heart rate so that is all that matters at 10.5 weeks!!! Who is your ob?? Are you going to the local hospy or further ???

Where are you delivering Tegz?? or havent you guys decided yet??

Talk soon

Seeing bubs was awsome, I was so worried that something had gone wrong.
The Dr kept saying to me that I'm lucky this bubba doesn't have a memory because it was bordering on physcological (sp?) scarring. I felt so horrible. He is only 6.41cm and the poor thing had his arms above his head trying to push the placenta and bladder away! (Not sure if he is a boy or girl but I hate "it")

I am see Dr Colin Blair at Murdoch hospital. He has been my gyn for bout 6 years. So I feel comfortable with him.

Anyway have a great night

That would be funny. I am :fingerscrossed: that bub will come a little early. Everyong is taking great pleasure in telling me bubs is going to be huge! I have a very big preg belly already!

Has your spotting stopped?

Have you been to baby road? I am so in love with that store. Just thought I had to share that.

So are you having bubs at murdoch too?

Yeh we are off to Murdoch again....i cant wait to stay in the renovated section..dh thinks i use child birth as a mini holiday lol..

I'm sure your belly is fine !!!...dont listen too much to what others say..they are usually wrong...maybe you just retain fluid ?? or your bloated plus technically this is your 2nd pregnancy isn't it??...

Yes all the spotting has spotted thank goodness...there's nothing worse..but all clear again so far & we are 12 weeks 2days :smiliedance: ..hopefully all will go smoothly again:fingerscrossed: & i have the 3 month scan on Wed YAH more pics !!

Where is babyroad??? I usually go to baby on a budget well we got all our nusery items & prams ect from there..is it in Rockingham??? Have you got many maternity clothes yet?? I need to get some new jeans & 3/4 pants for this one but that should be it...if i can contain myself I LOVE maternity clothes LOL...

Anyway i wont be back on for a few weeks as we are moving house...take care of yourself in the mean time.....

heya everyone

well i am now 15 weeks & 3 days...whoo hoo!! very excited!

Kris: My scan went great. Bub has an extremely low risk of down syndrome, So it is all good! How is your bub doin?

Kristy: We are having our bub at Peel Campus (Mandurah) (that is where we live). Went & had a look at maternity ward the other day and it isn't too bad, freaked me out a bit though. Thanks for advice on labour. I am trying not to freak out but i really can't help it. I hate any type of pain.

Have started to buy bub clothes, nappies and thingz. Sorting bubs room out this weekend so we can start creating a nursey. So exciting!!

Anyways gotta get dinner on. Hope everyone is well!!

Hello everyone

I am so happy to come across Bubhub mums and mums-to-be in this area. My husband, little boy (Daniel 7 months) and I are moving to Mandurah from the Gold Coast and I am quite sad to be leaving my very supportive group of friends behind.

Congratulations to all the expecting mums! This is such an exciting time for you - enjoy every minute of it.

We are super excited to be moving to such a beautiful area and I hope to be able to join a playgroup or mother's group soon. Do you know of any in the area?

Take care

Welcome Jillian... When is your BIG move to Mandurah? I live in Mandurah, but I am unable to help you out with info on play groups and thingz. Its all new to me. But I'm guessing there will quite a few to choose from.

Kris - My next Scan is on 13th June. I am unsure whether I am gonna find out, coz DJ doesn't want to know and I do. So it is making it hard. I don't know if I will be able to keep it from him.

I am now 18 weeks preggers, and definatley feeling movement, well butterflies. And it is getting so hard to sleep....just can't get comfortable or find a position that doesn't cause discomfort....ANY ADVICE??????

Hope everyone is takin care :)

Hello!

Well had my big scan yesterday! And we are having a BOY :smiliedance: . Everything is going really well. Bubs is moving heaps now.

How did your scan go tegz? Did you end up finding out? I find lying on my left side is the only side that is good. Apparently it is the best side to lay on anyway as its the natural way the organs fall??? Not sure how true it is tho.

heya

i had my 19 week scan the other day.........was a bit disappointed coz bub is in a weird position so couldn't see it properly. Which means i couldn't be told if it was a boy or a girl. Will have to wait to the next scan :( But besides that, the baby is healthy and doing well....so that I am happy about that.

Congrats Kris on the news that you are having a boy. Very Exciting!! Have u thought of any names?

Tegz - Hopefully at your next scan bubs will be a bit more forthcoming for you! Maybe its a girl and she doesn't want anyone seeing her bits???
We like James Steven or Noah James Steven. Not too sure. Do you know of any names that you like?

Kristy - Glad to see you back. Was wondering if you were still coming back. What were your dates before they were changed?? Hows the new house?

Bianca - Welcome!! Here's to H&H pregnancy for you! Can't wait to share this journey with you.

Hey Ladies...

Kris - No i didnt hear about the pretend cops... What on earth do people think they are doing...that really makes me mad, DH & i are trying to teach DD1 that police are good & to go to them if she ever needs help or gets lost etc...how fantastic if she got someone who isnt really one :( . Sorry little vent i get sick & tired of young ( & hey 25 isnt old is it??) people just being S###%* & seeing as our home was constantly graffettied on (well the old one) i know first hand how bad some members of this community are..sorry no more comments lol...Well our original due date was the 26 Nov so its only moved up by 3 days nothing too exciting... BTW love the name Noah, it was quite a special meaning to us...i wont get into it...

Tegz- Have you found out yet ???

Bianca - Welcome..sorry i didnt say so before :o , My dd's are similar in age to your littlies..4, 25.yrs & 14.5 months, your in PK too, maybe all us ladies should catch up one day....when we have 5 mins LOL...

They got me at 10.30 at night and scared the **** out of me. Lucky enough I had my DH with me!! They got caught but all being under 18 - well you know :banghead:

I hope 25s not old - cause thats me!! :o

I love Noah - my hubby loves James. And I want Steven as a middle, so he thinks he gets dibbs on first name!! I guess I got some succking up to do!

Kris - What little buggers  ....you are so lucky you had DH with you!! I cant belive it & drink driving aswell!!! What is wrong with some ppl...

My dh is going mental atm with that poor little girl who was raped & murdered in the toilet at the shops!! :crying: Not that we let our 4yo go alone to the toilet but DH is like ' NEVER let them out of your sight' which i dont..i usually put the 2 bubs in the trolley & dd1 walks next to me either holding on to the trolley or my hand but it has been a reality check for us...dh is saying dont let anyone touch the girls while we are out shopping but its all the old ppl they are always coming up to us, though our girls are quite shy & tend to squish closer to me its so hard...& i dont like to be rude....but what do you say !!

Oh well enough from me hope your all feeling well...

hey everyone.......

how are we all going?

I am now 22 weeks preggers...yah......and this lil bub is really active, scares the hell out of me when I'm not expecting it.

I don't think we are gonna find what it is.....DJ doesn't wanna know but I did, now I am not really worried aslong as it comes out healthly.

I never heard about that cop incident in Rocko, how silly is that????? What kind of things were they doin?

I send out my love to the family that lost their little Sofia. What a tragic way to lose a daughter. Has definatley got me thinkin for when our little one pops out into the world, can't even let your child go to the toilet on their own...how sad is that....what is this world coming to!!!!

Bianca - Welcome, Welcome.............another port kennedy person.....where are all the Mandurah people........ha ha.

Kristy- How r u and bubba coming along? Are u showing yet? Welcome back, long time no see. Great that ya 3 month scan went well. congrats.

Kris - How many weeks are you again? I think I'm having a girl too, just a feeling I have. We have chosen two girls names, Danielle & Telisha. And we can't find a boys name we like as of yet. I agree with Kristy, I think Noah is a nice name.

Hi

I'm new to this website, I am 29 weeks pregnant now, 1st time!! I am due 22nd september. Very excited.

It's good to read all the posting and follow everyones experiences with scans etc so far. We found out at the 20 week scan it's girl, got the name debate going on now!

We live inbetween Mandurah and Rockingham.

I was trying to find out if there were any 'mother and baby' type groups in the area for support after Bub is born.

Tegz- Glad to hear all is well..Tragic i agree about Sofia :crying: Poor family my heart breaks for them...Make our girls feel even more precious..

Hi Ladies...

Sandra - Where are you having your bubs??? Yeah i certainly remember that 'everything is new' stage...havent been there for a while LOL:laughing: It is all so exiting, though a little scary too but 110% worth it..do you have any friends locally having babies??? I was thinking you could get together with hem after bubs is born to help bounce ideas off?? When i had my DD1 none of my age group frinds where having babies but my DH friends wives (they are my friends too though LOL) were so i would always be ringing one of them up & asking for suggestions...actually i think i still am.

Kris - Strong..me ..never...I always want to ask but DH doesnt want to know so he keeps me strong...did i mention i watch my u/s vid about 20 times after would to see if i can see anything LOL...i never can though. I thought i could see DD#3 little willie waving around LOL well she is a girl hehe. Though seriously neither of us mind what the bubs is boy/girl as long as everything is working thats the most important (we have some friends who's bubs was thought to have water on the brain..thankfully it should all be ok though the docs dont know if there has been any damaged caused:( ) I guess with that happening & a few other dramas friends have had with their littlies we are just praying for another healthy baby...though a little boy would be nice I want to buy tonka trucks LOL

BTW- have you & dh decided on your babys name ?? or are you still trying for Noah?? We havent thought of anything at all...though all our dd names have a theme so we will be sticking with that !!

Hi

I decided, well my GP did, on Rockingham Hospital, wasn't sure where to go and had heard good and bad about both Rockingham and Mandurah. Hoping not to be in there too long!!

Luckily I have a friend who has a 3 year old and another friend with a 3 month old, none of us have been in Australia that long so we are all finding out whats about for little ones.

I start the Antenatel classes soon, looking forward to that!! My hubby is coming, hope he doesn't ask any embarrassing questions!!! Just know he will though.

Hi girls!

Welcome to the new people and congrats to those who are pregnant :D

All is busy our way,its my little boy's 2nd birthday in 4 weeks, and i still have no idea what we are going to do for it!.

Good luck girls with the name game. That was the most frustrating thing for me when i was pregnant with the girls. We decided on Kaitlyn's name when i was 7 mths pregnant and Madison's name when i was 4 mths. With Blake,we had already said about 3 mths before i fell pregnant with him that we liked that name, and if we ever had a boy we wanted that name.So when i did get my BFP with Blake,i had this feeling i was having a boy,and the name was already decided :)

Sandra i had my eldest at Rockingham, and had a wonderful experience.I had a planned c/s,and the staff were so helpful. As long as we are still living in this area if we ever have another bub i will definitely going back there.

Anyway only a quick one from me,i am absolutely freezing, and my fingers are going blue..lol.Might have to do some housework to warm up :(..lol

Lou - Welcome & Congratulations on the pregnancy...what due date have you got then?? Sorry i have pg brain :o I agree with kris Baldivis is lovely..we checked it out for vacant blocks a couple of months ago but ended up with a lovely block in secret harbour.

Make sure you girlsdont leave it too long before going into hospital & ring when you have contractions...my middy's got me in a little earlier with dd1 as they were worried with me coming from S/Bay...i just slept while i waited for things to really get going:laughing: My ob told me the other day he is very worried i might not make it..i will, Dh thinks he 's a race car driver

Sandra - At least you dont have too far to travel & welcome to WA too!!! lol

Kris - Like my pm said all should be well..'James Steven' very nice..no we havent really thought too hard on names yet but we have kinda picked a name for each sex atm, its a little hard as all our girls have 'place' names as first names & 'gem stones' as middle names...yeh we are weird i know:laughing: How old is your dh?? Did you go to Safety bay too??

Well to anyone i missed 'hi' & hope you are doing well

Kristy,it's ok my dh affectionately calls me "baby brain" coz I can't remember a thing. We are due about 19 Jan, but I think it is about 24th. Will find out more definate when I get ultrasound results tomorrow!!

Hope everyone is well, and keeping warm!!! This morning was freezing!!
