It will be my DD first Easter this year, and she will be 9 months, so thats a bit
young for lots of chocolate. Does anybody have any ideas of what i could get her
besides the obvious toy bunny.
Thanxs in advance.
We give slippers and pjs. Plus another fun type of toy:)

My DD will be 8 months at easter and i am buyin her a barbie suitcase thats the same size as an adult suitcase. Because we are goin away over easter and she needs a bag for all her stuff. she;'s too little for heaps of choc plus i'll just end up eatin it all anyway. I will get her a little egg though so that she doesnt miss out.

Charlee will be 8 months too, so i'll probably get her a token tiny egg, and i've got a plush little easter lamb (who knew there were Easter Lambs? ), for her first Easter with us.
Mac got the token bunny toys for her first, and i remember getting her one bunny choccy and letting her go for her life! Lovely to clean up afterwards.....I think she also got some PJ's and other little gifts.....

One year we gave Vallerie a crockery set thingy. It had a bowl, a spoon, and an egg cup. It was adorable - or it would have been, had it not been a Shrek set LOL:rolleyes: I think the spoon says "Eat Stink and Be Merry" on it  oh well, she was right into Shrek at the time, and I think it was kinda Easter-y because of the egg cup.

Another vote for an Egg Cup  That is what our family does. And handpainted eggs, a nice keepsake for the first easter.
Yep - I bought both of mine, plus god-daughters egg cups for their first EAster. The bunnykins ones are nice and are cheap if you get them from the Peter's of Kensington website! (An easy one to google!)
That is a lovely first Easter idea Neaby. I never thought of that, I am sure your son will treasure it :)

We got ds a the book 'Guess How Much I Love You' last easter (he was only 2 months old) as it is a gorgeous story and the characters are hares so I though it was appropriate. My grandfather gave him a bunnykins egg cup and he got the bowl from my mum. All other rellies got him sof toys. From now on though we will probably go with slippers/pj's as it is a bit of a tradition on my side.AS he gets older I imagine the quantitiy of chocolate will begin to increase:eek:

We have bought DS a 'Spot's First Easter' book where he can flip up parts of the page to find the Easter eggs.
I'm not that keen on giving him chocolate - he's had a little bit twice (from well-meaning rellies) but we'll just do a special breakfast instead.

We're getting Thomas a set of bunnykins tablewear  and some toys.
