I am 15 weeks pregnant and am just reaching the stage where I feel as though I can't lie on my tummy anymore, or if I lean on things on my tummy it hurts a bit. I guess this is normal, but for the last few days I've had some lower abdominal pain that isn't really cramping, so I haven't been able to find much online.

I'm not too worried, and there are no other symptoms, but sometimes in the night if I wake up and stretch, it really hurts my lower tummy, and today I sneezed, and it was really, really painful - a stabbing sensation that felt like really powerful ovulation pain.

It's been quite regular - a throbbing kind of dull pain where I would normally feel ovarian pain during my period.

I'm probably worrying over nothing but the sneeze thing did concern me today - is this pretty normal for this stage of pregnancy?

Thanks all :)

Gee I can't remember, I think I had all sorts of different pains & aches & pulling & bloating sensations at all diff times.
Isn't it about this stage the uterus pops up out of the pelvis???
Sorry, I'm not much help but didn't want you to go unanswered.
As always , give your doc or Midwife a ring & make sure medically, but maybe it's just the readjustment of your organs (which is going to get worse).
Hope someone else enlightens you more :)

Hey there,

Yes it all sounds very normal to me. The sneezing thing happens b/c all the ligaments in the area have by now been stretched like a violin string and when you sneeze it is like they are all being plucked!

I wouldn't worry, there is alot going on in there!

Hope this helps...
